Event Report on Nutrition Cookery Presentation

Students of Br. Nath Pai Nursing Education and Research Academy, Kudal donned their Chef Caps to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘Aaswad’ held on 24th November 2023. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Gargi Oroskar, Dietitian, Mrs. Kalpana Bhandari, Principal and other Teaching staff of Br. Nath Pai Nursing Education and Research Academy, Kudal.
Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delicious recipes as per their syllabus. The students of B.Sc. Nursing (36 in number), GNM (57 in number) and ANM (08 in number) were divided into 12 groups. The therapeutic diets prepared by students includes diet in anemia, pregnancy, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, hepatic disorders, obesity, underweight, diarrhea, constipation, diabetes mellitus, pre-operative diet and post-operative diet. Artefacts and food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style.
Various nutritious dishes were demonstrated by Ms. Vaijayanti J. Nar (HOD- nutrition), Mr. Shankar Madhav and Ms. Shruti Varde. The Dishes were judged on nutrition and taste by the evaluator. They interacted with the students to find out the ingredients of the recipes, nutritional value and the historical significance of the dishes prepared by them. Judges were overawed by the efforts of the participants. The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day we the Br. Nath Pai Nursing Education & Research Academy Kudal celebrated this day gracefully. The theme for World Mental Health Day was “Mental Health is Universal Human Right.” We have organised various events by giving subject related to theme are as follows;
- Master Mind Games
- Mime Act
The guest lecture was organised for the staff & students regarding the theme. The programme was started with spiritual lamp lighting. The felicitation of the guest of honour Mr.Nitin Bambardekar was done by Principal, Br. Nath Pai Nursing Education & Research Academy Kudal, Mrs. Kalpana Bhandari. All dignitaries delivered their speech cum wishes to all. A comparing was done by Mr. Sanket Patkar and vote of thanks was given by Ms.Karishma Kolambkar students of III semester BSc Nursing.
Event Report on Disaster Management Program

Guest :- Mr. Bhushan Pagdhare. (Assistant controller firefighting and Rescue), Collector office and district magistrate, Sindhudurg.
We the Br. Nath Pai Nursing education and research academy Kudal arranged a awareness program on disaster management.
The program was started with welcome of the guest and lamp lighting. The felicitation of guest Mr. Bhushan Pagdhare was done by Mr. Arun Margaj Principal Br. Nath Pai Arts Commerce Science womens college Kudal.
The preface of program was delivered by Mr. Arun Margaj. Mr. Bhushan Pagdhare was delivered lecture and demonstration on disaster management. He also explained all disasters and how to manage casualty followed with demonstration of transferring the casualty from disaster area to hospital. Comparing was done by Ms. Suman Karangale. Programme ended with vote of thanks to the teachers and students.

The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Kalpana Bhandari, Vice-principal and other Teaching staff of Br. Nath Pai School of Nursing, Kudal. Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delicious recipes as per their syllabus. The students of GNM (60 in number) and ANM (20 in number) were divided into 12 groups. Artefacts and food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style.
Various nutritious dishes were demonstrated by Ms. Vaijayanti J. Nar (HOD- nutrition), Ms. Priyanka Malkar, Ms. Reshma Kocharekar, Ms. Neha Mahale, Ms. Rugveda Rawool. The Dishes were judged on nutrition and taste by all. They interacted with the students to find out the ingredients of the recipes, nutritional value and the historical significance of the dishes prepared by them. Judges were overawed by the efforts of the participants. The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
Sports Meet- Kshitij 2022
Br.Nath Pai College of Nursing celebrating Nurses week from 6th May 2022 and ends on 12th May Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
Many indoor and outdoor events were planned. Today the inaugural function of Outdoor games were inaugurated by Mrs. Vidhya Saras, District sports officer Sindhudurg district and guest of honor for the event was Mr. Dinesh Chavan, Chairman of Kabbadi Association, Kudal.
Students are divided into Houses like Green, yellow, Red and Orange. All the students and Faculty are participating very enthusiastically. Events for the indoor games are, nail art, Carroom, Hair style, and best out of waste.
For outdoor events – Long jump, Shot put, throw ball, relay, volley ball, tug of war, kabbadi, cricket, Kho- Kho.
Report on Tree Plantation
Our college Br. Nath Pai College of Nursing, kudal organised a tree plantation program on the occasion of Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences Nasik, foundation day on 10th June 2022. Program started with introducing students about the theme in the morning session.
The theme is “one student one tree“. All the students and teachers participated in this program. The aim of the program is to plant of 25 sapling in the college campus. The principal of our college Mrs. Meena Joshi gave a passionate speech on this topic and finally the program ended with vote of thanks.
Report on International Midwives Day
We the Br. Nath Pai nursing education and research academy Kudal , due to holiday on 05/05/2024 we have celebrated INTERNATIONAL MIDWIVES DAY on 06/05/2024 gracefully.
We have celebrated international midwives day by organizing competition such as Elocution competition and information booklet making competition. The competition organised for school and college of nursing students. College of nursing and school of nursing students were enthusiastically participated in organized competition.
The programme was started with introducing the INTERNATIONAL MIDWIVES DAY. Theme for 2024 was Midwives: A vital climate solution. Theme unfolded by Ms Suman Karangale HOD OBGY department. All students and staffs were present for program. Competition has started by 10.15am till 12.30 pm. Whole programme guided by Mrs. Kalpana Bhandari Principal of Br. Nath Pai nursing education and research academy Kudal.
The evaluators for above competitions was Ms Shambhavi Ajgaonkar and Ms Suman Karangale. Result were declared at evening and also prizes has handed over to winners.
Programme was ended with wishing all staff and student nurse midwives for international midwives day.
ANM & B.Bsc Nursing is started in 2009. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife is 2 years course after 12th. Mainly the students are prepared to work in community. Bachelor of Science is 4 years course after science which is degree course of Maharashtra University of health sciences

On the occasion of International Womens Day we the Br. Nath Pai Nursing Education & Research Academy, Kudal celebrated this day gracefully. The theme for International Womens Day was “Invest In Women: Accelerate Progress.” We have organised guest speech on theme for students and staffs.
The programme was started with spiritual lamp lighting and welcome song. The felicitation of the guest of honour Dr. Nilam Sood was done by Mrs. Kalpana Bhandari, Principal of Br. Nath Pai Nursing Education & Research Academy, Kudal and chief guest Dr. Nandini Deshmukh was done Mrs. Shubhangi Lokare, Principal of Br. Nath Pai Central School, Kudal. All dignitaries delivered their speech cum wishes to all. A comparing was done by Miss. Mrunmayee Khanvilkar and vote of thanks was given by Vibha Waze.

On the occasion of world health day 2024, we the Br. Nath Pai College of Nursing,Kudal celebrated this day gracefully. The theme for world health day 2024 was “My Health, My Right”. We have organised various events by arranging various competitions related to theme are as follows,
a) Slogan Competition
b) Reels Competition
c) State Level Poster Competition
The guest lecture was organised for the staff and students regarding the theme. The programme started with yoga session at 08:00 am – 09:00 am conducted by Dr. Sharavati Shetty, clinical physiotherapist of BNPCOP, Kudal. Anchoring is done by Ms. Siddhi Naik.
The programme started with lighting ceremonial lamp. The felicitation of the chief guest Dr. Aadesh Palyekar done by Principal, Br. Nath Pai College of Physiotherapy, Kudal, and Dr. Deepa Deshpande by Principal, Br Nath Pai College of Nursing, Kudal. All dignitaries delivered speech cum wishes to all. Also, students from physiotherapy and nursing delivered speech. Prize distribution of slogan competition, reels competition and state level poster competition done by chief guest and guest of honour. Prize winning reels were display on screen. Lastly vote of thanks was given by Ms. Pranjal Sawant student of B.Bsc Nursing Fourth Year.
